Your presence matters to AI — literally AI systems need to see the world the way it actually looks: people of different backgrounds, in real lighting, moving naturally through space. This onsite video study captures exactly that — and your participation helps ensure technology works accurately for everyone, not just a narrow slice of the population. No special skills needed. No tech background required. Just you — showing up as yourself. What you’ll do A field moderator will guide you through simple, natural activities in a controlled indoor environment using smart display devices. Sessions include: Performing natural head movements in front of a camera Walking toward and around a device at various distances Sitting at different distances from the device in low-light conditions Wearing everyday accessories — glasses, a hat, or a headband Moving naturally through a scene without engaging with the device Following moderator-directed scenario instructions Everything is guided. Nothing is improvised. You’ll know exactly what’s expected before you start. Locations Charleston and Paradise, Las Vegas, Nevada Bellevue and Redmond, Washington New York, New York You choose the location that works for you. Sessions are scheduled at your convenience. Compensation $150 per completed session Payment via Tremendous (gift card or Visa Prepaid Card) Paid within 3–5 days of session completion Duration Each session takes 1.5 to 2 hours . One visit, one session, done.
