Role Overview: We are seeking an Overleaf/LaTeX Task Executor to perform hands-on typesetting, academic publishing, and research-document tasks. The role involves executing complex workflows, recording human reference demonstrations, validating task solvability, identifying edge cases, and testing automated compilation verifiers. Target Applications and Toolchain Overleaf, LaTeX, pdfLaTeX, BibTeX, TeXstudio, and Zotero. Job Responsibilities: Execute multi-step document typesetting, citation-resolution, and mathematical-equation formatting tasks. Record clean human execution trajectories, including keystrokes, syntax edits, bibliography matching, and compilation runs. Identify broken package dependencies, ambiguous citation keys, malformed BibTeX entries, and compilation issues. Test alternative valid LaTeX packages and formatting methods to verify that automated graders accept valid outputs. Job Requirements: Practical hands-on experience with LaTeX and Overleaf for scientific or academic document preparation. Strong knowledge of LaTeX syntax, package debugging, and compilation error resolution. High attention to mathematical formatting, citation accuracy, and typography. Clear written English for submitting bug reports and execution feedback. Experience with Zotero or BibTeX reference managers is preferred Experience in academic copyediting, proofreading, or technical publication quality assurance preferred. Engagement Details: Engagement Type: Pay per task AHT (Average Handling Time) : 60 minutes per task. Start Date: As soon as possible. Duration: 5 weeks, with potential for extension.
