What does day-to-day life look like? Collaborate with ML engineers to expose APIs for training, evaluation, and benchmarking. Write efficient, production-grade Python code with a strong emphasis on scalability and maintainability. Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize pipelines, and ensure smooth deployment of applications. Requirements 8+ years of professional experience in Python development , Proven ability to review code , provide constructive feedback , and merge PRs to ensure consistency, reliability, and adherence to engineering standards. Strong track record of identifying and mitigating risks early , coupled with a deep sense of ownership and accountability across the full software development lifecycle. Hands-on experience in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs , implementing asynchronous programming , and managing the complete API lifecycle from design to deployment. Solid understanding of software engineering best practices , including automated testing , CI/CD pipelines , version control (Git) , and scalable design patterns . Familiarity with NumPy and Pandas ; exposure to PyTorch or TensorFlow is a plus. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or a related field. Offer Details Commitments Required: At least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with overlap of 4 hours with PST.
