We're hiring historians as contractors to author and grade the source analysis and historical reasoning scenarios those evaluations run on.</p> <p><strong>What you'll actually do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Author historical scenarios that test real method, from source criticism to competing causal explanations.</li> <li>Write reference answers with the evidentiary reasoning behind each interpretation, what the sources support and what they cannot.</li> <li>Grade model output for factual accuracy, context, and historiographical awareness.</li> <li>Flag narratives that read confident but flatten evidence, invent causation, or project the present onto the past.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who this is for</strong></p> <ul> <li>Historians with an advanced degree and at least two years of teaching, research, archival, or published work.</li> <li>Specialists in any period or region, with real primary source experience behind the specialty.</li> <li>Scholars who can weigh conflicting sources and say plainly what the evidence does and does not establish.</li> <li>Writers whose prose carries argument, not just chronology.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Contract and pay</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>$50 to $100/hr</strong>, paid weekly via Stripe.
