Terms of use

These terms describe the conditions for HumanSourcer's directory, HumanSourcer Prep and hosted tools. HumanSourcer is the service's trading name. Our privacy policy explains personal-data processing. Neither document, by itself, authorizes reuse of ordinary practice work for model training.

1. Scope and acceptance

HumanSourcer is the trading name of Bradley Fehler, an individual operator established in the United Kingdom. HumanSourcer is not currently operated by an incorporated company.

Where we ask you to accept these terms for an account, purchase or agreement, that acceptance applies to the version presented. Merely viewing this page, using a local tool or joining an email list does not grant a contribution license or consent to optional data use. A specific order or signed business agreement can supplement these terms; its express provisions control a conflict for that service. Third-party datasets and open-source software retain their own licenses. Mandatory legal rights always take precedence.

2. Eligibility and accounts

All HumanSourcer Prep lessons, practice and learner accounts are for adults aged at least 18. You must have legal capacity to enter an agreement or any authorization required in your jurisdiction. An optional data-contribution agreement is available only to adults aged at least 18 who can grant the relevant rights. Do not misrepresent your age or identity.

Use an email address you control, keep sign-in links and codes private, and notify us of unauthorized access. Accounts and invitation access are personal unless a separate team agreement permits otherwise. Beta availability, modules and access conditions are described on the relevant page. Existing signup-order and founding-member commitments remain applicable.

3. Information and learning results

HumanSourcer is an independent information and learning service, not an employer, recruiting agent or representative of a listed provider. Listings, eligibility and advertised pay can change; check the original source before relying on them. Estimates and observed data are not a promise of earnings, work or availability. We do not determine whether a provider accepts you.

Practice feedback and completion records describe selected tasks under stated scoring rules. They are not professional accreditation, a hiring recommendation or proof of job readiness. No listed provider requires this course. Free lessons remain available without a practice purchase. AI commentary, when shown, is labeled and may be incorrect; it does not replace the published human reference or a professional judgment. Report an error so it can be reviewed.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not submit unlawful, infringing, confidential or malicious material, real provider screening answers, credentials or other people's private data without the necessary authority.
  • Do not bypass access controls, inspect another user's private records, share reserved assessment items, impersonate anyone or misrepresent completion results.
  • Do not forge traffic, manipulate feedback, interfere with the service, send unsolicited messages through our forms or use resources in a way that materially harms availability.
  • Automated access must respect applicable access conditions, robots instructions and reasonable rate limits. This does not restrict statutory rights or the permissions of an applicable open license.

You are responsible for material you submit and for having the necessary permissions. We may reject or remove material, restrict abusive requests or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a breach, security risk or legal obligation, and explain the reason where lawful and practicable. You may contact us to challenge an error. Privacy choices or a lawful complaint are not misuse and are not grounds to reduce ordinary course access.

5. HumanSourcer and third-party materials

HumanSourcer retains rights in its original lessons, interface, branding and protectable compilations. You may access the service, learn from its free resources, link to its pages and use provided exports within their stated conditions. Applicable law may permit quotation, research and other uses independently of these terms. Systematic commercial redistribution of HumanSourcer's protected material or a restricted dataset requires permission unless an applicable law, open license or separate agreement allows it.

We do not claim ownership of provider job postings, photographs, third-party annotations or underlying facts. Their original rights and license conditions apply. Preserve required attribution and notices. Software expressly released under MIT or another open-source license remains governed by that license; these terms do not add restrictions to that grant.

6. Your work and the service license

You retain any rights you hold in your original submissions. For hosted work, you authorize us and our service providers to store, copy, display, format and process it only as needed to provide your requested tool, score answers, show progress, handle support and protect the service, subject to the privacy policy and law. This service permission is nonexclusive and limited to those purposes; it does not authorize selling your answers or training a model. Work that stays in a local tool is not submitted to us and grants no license through this clause.

On account deletion, ordinary service use ends, subject to limited retention permitted by law and described in the privacy policy. Keep your own exported backups where important; local storage and draft recovery are not a guaranteed archival service. These terms do not limit your access or portability rights in personal data.

7. Separate optional contribution license

No contribution program is currently enabled. If offered, a separate agreement and initially unchecked purpose choices must identify the material covered. Accepting these general terms alone grants no contribution rights. You can decline or withdraw optional choices without losing ordinary learning access, scores or founding-member benefits.

For material you expressly elect to contribute, the separate agreement may grant HumanSourcer a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license, unless compensation is separately agreed, to reproduce, clean, annotate, adapt and combine that material and create derivatives, only for the selected purposes: internal research, evaluation and training of HumanSourcer's models and commercial products; specified external research/training or commercial dataset licensing; and/or separately authorized public datasets and research publications. External sublicensing is limited to the recipients and purposes covered by your valid permission.

We may develop, commercialize and license resulting models and permitted derivative products within that authorized scope. Contribution does not promise payment, attribution, employment or acceptance into a dataset, unless separately agreed or required by law or an underlying license. Permission applies only to rights you actually hold. It does not transfer ownership of third-party assets, authorize disclosure of someone else's personal data or waive moral rights or other protections that cannot lawfully be waived.

Material collected under a previous no-training/no-sale promise is excluded unless you separately identify and authorize that earlier material. Your separate agreement must state the period and withdrawal process. Withdrawal ends new uses relying on the withdrawn choice; prior lawful acts remain lawful, but ongoing retention, recipient use, models and publications remain subject to applicable deletion, restriction and other obligations. These terms create no blanket right to keep personal data in a model after withdrawal and no irrevocable privacy consent.

8. Suggestions and independent development

You may send nonconfidential ideas or suggestions about the service. To the extent you hold rights in those suggestions, you permit us to use them to improve products without payment or an obligation to implement them, subject to applicable law. This permission does not include practice answers, uploaded datasets, confidential material or personal-data processing beyond the privacy policy. We may independently develop similar features without using your protected work.

9. Beta access and future paid services

The current invited beta is free while that beta lasts. We do not charge an account or turn free access into a paid subscription without a separate purchase. If paid services are offered, the checkout will state the price, taxes, service period, any renewal, cancellation and refund conditions before acceptance. No provider requires payment for this course, and free indexed lessons are not later moved behind a paywall. No purchase promises work or earnings.

Mandatory consumer cancellation, withdrawal, refund and digital-service conformity rights apply regardless of any stated refund policy. An EU/UK right of withdrawal is not waived by accepting these general terms; any legally permitted immediate-supply exception needs its own required request/consent, acknowledgement and confirmation. A later team contract may set different business terms without reducing mandatory consumer rights.

10. Changes, availability and termination

We may maintain, improve or discontinue free/beta features for a reasonable service, security or legal reason. Beta features can contain errors or interruptions. Where practicable, we give notice of a material change and an opportunity to export work. A paid service remains subject to its agreed description and applicable change, cancellation and refund rights.

You may stop using the service and request account deletion. We may terminate access for a material breach, misuse or legal requirement, subject to mandatory rights. Content-rights, payment and responsibility provisions survive only to the extent needed for accrued rights, lawful completed acts and permitted ongoing uses; survival does not revive withdrawn consent.

11. Responsibility and liability

We take reasonable care with the service, but cannot guarantee that third-party listings remain available, advertised pay is earned, an assessment is accepted or every beta feature is error-free. To the extent permitted by law, free/beta information and tools are supplied as available without additional warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular commercial purpose. Mandatory duties of reasonable care, conformity and security remain.

For business users, to the extent permitted by law and unless a signed agreement says otherwise, we exclude indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit, revenue and business opportunity, and limit aggregate contractual liability for the relevant service to the greater of US$100 and the fees paid for it during the 12 months before the event. This business limit does not apply to a consumer's protected claims. For consumers, we remain responsible for losses that applicable law requires us to cover, including foreseeable losses caused by our breach.

No exclusion or cap applies where unlawful, including for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where protected, death or personal injury caused by negligence, mandatory privacy compensation, or other nonexcludable statutory rights. Nothing requires a consumer to indemnify us for our own wrongdoing or waive a regulator complaint. Any business indemnity must be separately negotiated rather than inferred from browsing the site.

12. Questions, complaints and applicable rights

Contact privacy@humansourcer.comabout a service concern, alleged infringement or dispute. Include enough detail to identify the issue without sending unnecessary sensitive information. We welcome an opportunity to resolve it, but contacting us first is not a condition of a statutory claim or regulator complaint. These terms impose no mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver or exclusive foreign forum. The applicable law and courts follow the relevant legal rules, including protections allowing consumers to rely on mandatory rights and competent courts where they live.

13. Updates and interpretation

We identify the version by its date and give appropriate notice of material changes. Changes do not retroactively expand rights over your work or introduce charges; where renewed acceptance is required, we obtain it. Silence or continued browsing is not consent to optional training or commercial data use. If a provision is unenforceable, it applies only to the extent lawfully permitted and the remaining terms continue where legally possible. These terms and an applicable accepted order or contribution agreement govern the relevant service; they do not cancel earlier privacy commitments or mandatory rights.
