Organization : Alignerr Type : Hourly Contract Location : Remote Commitment : 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Develop, solve, and critically review advanced environmental science problems with real-world relevance Apply your expertise in climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or related disciplines to design complex, scientifically grounded problem statements Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to enhance AI model reasoning and accuracy Ensure scientific rigor, clarity, and depth across all deliverables Work independently on task-based assignments at a pace that suits your schedule Who You Are Holds a Master's or PhD in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Ecology, or a closely related field Experienced with Python or R for research or data analysis Deep expertise in at least one of: climate modeling, ecology, sustainability science, or environmental data analysis Exceptional written communicator with strong attention to scientific accuracy and detail Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment Fluent in English Nice to Have Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows Background in publishing peer-reviewed research or tech
