Organization : Alignerr Type : Hourly Contract Location : Remote (New York, NY) Commitment : 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Listen to German-language audio recordings and produce precise, verbatim transcriptions Handle challenging audio conditions — including crosstalk, filled pauses ("ähm," "hmm"), background noise, and multiple simultaneous speakers Accurately identify and distinguish between different speakers throughout recordings Follow detailed style and formatting guidelines with consistency and precision Apply transcription conventions for non-verbal sounds, incomplete utterances, and other spoken-language phenomena Maintain high quality and accuracy standards across large volumes of audio Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments at your own pace Who You Are Native or near-native fluency in German — you catch every nuance, dialect cue, and filler word Exceptional listening skills with the ability to parse difficult or noisy audio Highly detail-oriented with a methodical, patient approach to repetitive tasks Comfortable following and consistently applying detailed style guides and formatting rules Strong written German skills — spelling, punctuation, and grammar come naturally to you Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without direct supe
