Welsh Voice Actor / Voice-Over Artist (AI Speech Recording) About the Role What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands the way real people in Wales speak? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with an authentic Welsh accent to participate in paid, in-studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project. This is a contract role for experienced voice talent based in Wales. Your recordings will help AI systems better understand natural human speech — making technology smarter and more inclusive for Welsh English speakers everywhere. Important: This project is AI-related but does not involve voice cloning. Organisation : Alignerr Type : Contract Sessions : 2–3 sessions of 4 hours each Format : In-person professional recording studio (locally assigned in Wales) What You'll Do Record natural, conversational Welsh English speech in a professional studio environment Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue conversations Deliver realistic, human-sounding dialogue that feels unscripted and authentic Follow light direction to vary tone, pacing, and delivery as needed Bring your genuine Welsh accent to life for AI training purposes Who You Are A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with relevant experience A native or near-native Welsh accent speaker — authentic and natural Currently based in Wales and able to attend in-person studio sessions Comfortable with both solo recordings and conversational dialogue formats Receptive to direction, reliable, and professional in a studio setting Fluent in English at a working level for communication purposes Nice to Have Acting or performance background Experience in broadcast, podcast production, or professional studio recording Familiarity with audio direction and adapting delivery on cue Why Join Us Contribute to genuinely meaningful AI research that improves how technology understands real Welsh voices Work with leading AI research teams on cutt
