We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Python expertise to design and operate scalable, production-grade systems. You’ll play a key role in shaping backend architecture, improving system reliability, and building services that handle real-world scale Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in Python (e.g., FastAPI, Django) Own features end-to-end: from architecture and implementation to deployment and monitoring Evolve system architecture toward high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability Design and implement event-driven and messaging-based systems (e.g., queues, pub/sub) Collaborate closely with Product and other stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions Maintain and improve existing systems, including refactoring and performance optimization Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with common standards (e.g., OWASP) Contribute to and enforce engineering standards, code quality, and best practices Drive adoption of modern development workflows (CI/CD, testing, observability) Participate actively in Agile processes Qualifications: 4–6+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development Strong proficiency in Python for building production-grade applications Experience with modern Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or similar Solid understand
