New projects start on short notice, so instead of posting and pulling a listing each time, we keep one open per field and draw from it when one begins. **What the work looks like** We match consultants in the network to projects like: - Writing a case prompt from an engagement you ran, with the client situation, the data, and the constraint, plus the reference answer a model's attempt gets graded against - Grading model-built market sizings and profitability analyses: whether the segmentation is sensible, whether the driver tree holds, whether the recommendation follows from the numbers - Flagging where a model produces a clean-looking answer that would not survive a partner review or a client steering committee Past rates have run $90 to $120 an hour, set per project by scope and depth. **What we're looking for** - Professional experience in strategy, operations, or transformation consulting - Clear written communication, since most of the work involves explaining your reasoning - Comfort with ambiguous tasks, and willingness to flag unclear instructions **Where people in this pool have worked** The most common backgrounds, though the pool is broader than this: - MBB and the strategy arms of the Big Four - Boutique and tier-two strategy firms - Functional specialists: pricing, operations, org design, post-merger integration - In-house strategy, corporate development, or internal consulting at a large company The firm name matters less than whether you owned the analysis and the client-facing recommendation, not
