Product & UX Design - AI Training The role We’re looking for Product Designers and UX Specialists to join our Expert Network to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models using real design expertise. If you have the necessary experience, we’ll send you a quick 10- to 15-minute test to assess your skills and suitability for AI tasks. If successful, you’ll be invited to join Prolific as a participant, where you’ll get paid to train and evaluate powerful AI models. Researchers looking for your skills tend to pay up to $50 per hour . You must be prepared to complete paid tasks that require one hour of uninterrupted work , though many are shorter. What you’ll bring Education: A BS, MS, or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX Design, Product Design, or a related field. Professional Experience: at least one year of experience designing digital products, conducting user research, or building design systems in a professional environment. Design Intuition: a deep understanding of usability heuristics, accessibility standards (WCAG), and user-centered design principles. Analytical Critique: the ability to provide high-quality feedback on UI layouts, user flows, and information architecture. Strategic Thinking: experience balancing user needs with business goals and technical constraints. Communication: proficiency in explaining the "why" behind design decisions and critiquing AI-generated designs for functional and aesthetic quality. Audit Accessibility & Inclusion: review model outputs to ensure they adhere to modern accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
