About this role

For deeply opinionated designers who can articulate the difference between 'good' and 'great'. A critic role: strong fundamentals, and exceptional at structured feedback and direction. Specialties across brand, web, product/UI, office/presentation, 3D & generative media, illustration, and web-games. Mid-to-senior, professionally trained. You understand not just how to execute but why creative choices resonate. Write the way you'd speak to another senior designer. What you'll do: Compare and rank outputs to help models learn what 'great' looks like. When useful, design exemplar outputs or briefs from scratch. Required skills: Experience giving feedback in a professional setting (crit, awards jury, creative direction, management). Strong eye for fundamentals (type, color, spacing, grids). Fluent design vocabulary (leading, tracking, kerning, cap-height, hierarchy). How hiring works: 1. Apply (~10 min). 2. Complete a timed assessment (~45 min) built to gauge your judgment, quality bar, and craft.
