About this role
TELUS Digital is building a global community of experts to support the development and evaluation of advanced Artificial Intelligence systems. We are seeking AI, Machine Learning, Research and Subject-Matter Experts to support an upcoming Recursive Self-Improvement (RSI) Training and Ready-Made Dataset Procurement initiative. This opportunity is particularly suited to experts who can combine technical knowledge, research capability, critical thinking and dataset evaluation to identify high-quality resources for advanced AI training. What You’ll Do Depending on your area of expertise, you may be asked to: Research existing, ready-made datasets relevant to advanced AI training and evaluation Identify datasets that meet specific technical, research or domain requirements Assess dataset quality, relevance, complexity and completeness Evaluate whether datasets are suitable for AI reasoning, learning and self-improvement Review dataset structure, metadata, provenance and licensing considerations Identify potential quality issues, duplication, contamination or limitations Compare multiple datasets against defined selection criteria Recommend the most suitable datasets for potential procurement Provide clear, evidence-based justification for your recommendations Identify gaps and suggest additional resources where required Support advanced AI training and evaluation initiatives Who We’re Looking For We welcome applications from experts with backgrounds in: Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Computer Science AI Research Machine Learning Research Data Science Dataset Development or Data Quality AI Evaluation LLM Evaluation AI Safety / Red Teaming Mathematics & Statistics Scientific Research Engineering NLP / Computational Linguistics Healthcare Finance & Economics Law Education Other specialist technical or scientific domains You may be an: AI Researcher Research Scientist Machine Learning Engineer AI Evaluation Engineer LLM Evaluation Expert Data Scientist Dataset Spec
