French Language Expert (AI Training) About the Role We're looking for French language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems built for French-language learning and communication. Your linguistic insight and teaching background will directly shape how AI understands, assesses, and responds to French learners — making a real impact on one of the world's most widely spoken languages. Organization : Alignerr Type : Hourly Contract Location : Remote Commitment : Minimum 15 hours/week, fully asynchronous What You'll Do Review AI-generated French speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+ Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment Provide clear, structured feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models Suggest improvements for natural, idiomatic, and contextually appropriate French Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts Who You Are Native or near-native fluency in French Experience teaching French or evaluating learner language Fluent in English (C1/C2 level) Familiar with learner speech patterns and CEFR proficiency frameworks Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Experience in language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing Exposure to AI-powered language tools or educational technology Familiarity with regional French variations (European, Canadian, African, etc.) Comfort working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects with top research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, from anywhere Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Contribute to meaningful work that improves AI for French speakers and learners
