We're looking for Biology Specialists with advanced degrees to tackle complex scientific problems that push the boundaries of what AI can reason about in the biological domain. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working scientists, postdocs, and researchers who want to apply their deep expertise in a high-impact, intellectually stimulating way — on their own schedule. Organization : Alignerr Type : Hourly Contract Location : Remote Commitment : 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Develop, solve, and review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance Apply your expertise in genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology, or bioinformatics to design challenging, nuanced problem sets Evaluate AI-generated biological reasoning for scientific accuracy, depth, and rigor Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve how AI models handle complex life science reasoning Ensure clarity, scientific integrity, and precision across all deliverables Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule Who You Are Hold a Master's or PhD in Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or a closely related field Deep expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics Comfortable coding in Python or R — whether from research, coursework, or personal projects Exceptional written communicator with a sharp eye for scientific accuracy and detail Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision Fluent in English Nice to Have Experience in data annotation, data quality assessment, or scientific evaluation workflows Background in computational biology, systems biology, or related quantitative disciplines Familiarit
