Accounting Manager – AI Safety Benchmarking

We’re working with top AI labs to benchmark how models perform inside tools like QuickBooks and NetSuite. As an Accounting Manager with hands-on software experience, you’ll help us build realistic, safety-critical tasks that test model behavior inside enterprise finance environments. 🔧 What You’ll Do - Simulate day-to-day accounting tasks using QuickBooks (e.g., reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, closing books). - Design benchmark tasks where AI might assist - or go dangerously off-track. - Identify failure points in reporting, categorization, or compliance. - Define “safe” vs. “unsafe” AI behavior using scoring rubrics and reference outputs. ✅ Your Background - 5+ years in accounting or finance roles with day-to-day use of QuickBooks or NetSuite. - Experience with monthly closes, reconciliation, general ledger entries, and reporting. - Sharp attention to detail; ability to spot edge cases and ambiguous scenarios. - Bonus: experience training others or documenting financial processes. 💸 $40–65/hr 🧭 Mission-Driven: Prevent AI from causing real-world financial harm 🌐 Remote | Async
