TasteMakers is a curated network of designers, creative technologists, and AI-native makers working on projects with leading AI labs, tech companies, and brands. We're on a mission to end AI slop. We're looking for brand identity designers with a strong point of view. You've built complete identity systems from the first idea through to guidelines others can actually use: the concept, the mark, color, type, and the supporting visual language that makes a brand feel like itself. This is your specialty, not a side project, and you care about every detail. This role is staffing an active, paid project: designers are creating 500+ unique brand identities from scratch, and each identity is then carried into presentations and decks. Strong designers will also be considered for future brand projects as they open. Remote and async, as an independent contractor. Commitment: 15-40 hours per week. What you'll do: Build brand identity systems from scratch: logo, color, typography, and supporting brand language (shapes, patterns, gradients, illustration, imagery style) Show how the system flexes across real applications (social, packaging, signage, digital, merch) Deliver working systems as a Figma file plus a PDF guideline with clear usage rules and examples Required skills: A portfolio of complete identity systems, from concept and mark through guidelines and applications Strong conceptual thinking: you can articulate the idea behind a brand and why each design choice supports it Expert command of typography, color, composition, and visual hierarchy Mastery of Figma for building working systems; experience delivering PDF brand guidelines Experience giving structured, specific design feedback or creative direction Experience developing or interpreting creative briefs Extreme attention to detail and consistency across every touchpoint Background at a brand studio, branding agency, or in-house brand team is a strong plus

Is TasteMakers a legitimate AI-training platform?
Direct AI-training/design-evaluation gig portal - and that relationship is rated "Confirmed" here because it can be checked against portal.tastelabs.com rather than taken on TasteMakers's word. Confidence describes how well the ownership is evidenced. It is not a rating of how the platform treats the people who work for it, which no public source covers reliably.
